About the Firm

Betts & Associates and predecessor firms have been in the appraisal business since 1963, and were headquarters was located in Oakland, California. Our primary territory was in Northern California, although the majority of our projects have been in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our appraisers have authored books and articles relating to the appraisal industry, and have often consulted, or requested to serve, as expert witnesses on technical issues.

In addition to the experience our firm has acquired over the years, we also developed working relationships with professionals in many related fields, whose expertise has proven invaluable in more complex appraisals.
